Reality star Scott Disick is said to be having serious problems with drug and alcohol abuse, and he failed to complete his most recent rehab stint, but he has no plans of slowing down. In fact, he wants to turn his partying lifestyle into the topic of his very own reality show.

As of now, Scott is seen on the current season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, but he’s also made major appearances on the spinoff shows produced by E!, with or without longtime partner Kourtney. He now wants out of her shadow, Radar Online has learned.

Scott wants money, to distance himself from Kourtney

Insiders close to the reality star reveal for the celebrity publication that he’s been working on his next move for some time, telling his business partners that he’s finally ready to move out of Kourtney’s shadow.

Scott wants to be seen as separate from her and only a spinoff show could help with that, it seems. It would also do away with his frustrations about being a father of 3 and not having a steady income of his own.

“He’s wanted this from day one, but he’s been biding his time for the right moment, which he says is now,” says the spy. “Scott says he’s finally ready to make a big push to move away from Kourtney’s shadow and pursue his dream.”

That dream is to become a successful nightclub entrepreneur, whatever that might mean in his mind. He wants to travel the globe with his male pals, and obviously, he wants the cameras around to document every move.

This would make him richer and more famous as someone separate from “Kourtney’s partner / baby daddy,” but it would also make for interesting reality TV, thus boosting his profile as a reality star. Or so he thinks.

Scott Disick could have a shot, truth be told

If you’ve seen only one episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians where Scott makes an appearance, you know he’d probably deliver in terms of interesting reality TV. He is sassy and he always speaks his mind, he’s outrageous, he likes to party, and more importantly for this field, he doesn’t avoid drama, no matter who else it involves.

So if E! really gave him a chance to travel the world with his mates, get drunk, get into fights and party, people would probably tune in to see it. They might do it only to hate him for his eccentricities, but they’d do it either way.
