MWC 2015 is just around the corner where the world leading tech manufacturers are going to gather to show off their latest products.

Samsung is one of the most anticipated presences there, as the Korean tech giant will be unveiling the highly anticipated Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge.

We've been hearing a lot in the media about what these two phones are supposed to come equipped with and you probably have a pretty clear picture related to this matter by now.

If not, you might want to check out our previous Galaxy S6 and HTC One M9 comparison to find out the differences between the upcoming flagships.

While we’re pretty sure the Galaxy S6 will go live at MWC on March 1, we can’t say for sure when the Korean tech giant plans to make the handset available in retail.

Launch date for the Samsung Galaxy S6 in India gets revealed

A new report provided by IBNLive suggests that Samsung will be following a similar pattern to the year before. According to the information, the Galaxy S6 will be available for pickup in India in early April, in the second week of the month.

We’re also told that Indian Samsung fans will be given the opportunity to pre-order the handset starting in mid-March, meaning a few weeks after the official unveiling.

Even so, it doesn't necessarily mean that the Galaxy S6 will make it on the international market during the same date, so don’t make any plans just yet.

If we’re to look back at 2014 when the previous Galaxy S5 saw the light of day, Samsung went on to roll out the phone in more than 150 territories on April 11, so we shouldn't be surprised if something similar happens this year too.

We also know that Samsung’s new flagship will soon be offered by AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile in the US (no word from Verizon yet), but it’s unclear whether the carriers will start selling the phone after the Indian launch.

Anyway, while we wait on the Galaxy S6, you might want to take a minute to reconsider the Galaxy S5. Samsung just launched a new ad for the phone, to remind us that the device is still “irresistible” and not to  mention water resistant, something which the Galaxy S6 won’t probably be.
