The Galaxy J5, along with Galaxy J7, are Samsung's next affordable Android smartphones to be released on the market. The devices were spotted at TENAA last month and details on their specs leaked quite a long time ago.

Today, a new set of live pictures showing the Galaxy J5 popped up online at SamMobile. As expected, the phone features a generic design, polycarbonate body, and removable back cover.

The smartphone, also known as model number SM-J500F, will be preloaded with a new version of the TouchWiz UI. The information has been confirmed in a previous leak, and thanks to the new leaked pictures, it's now a certainty.

The new photos also reveal that Samsung Galaxy J5 will ship with the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system right out of the box. Nothing else regarding the Galaxy J5's specs appears in these photos, but we already know most of them.

Android 5.1 Lollipop and new TouchWiz UI confirmed

For example, Samsung Galaxy J5 is likely to be powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, coupled with 1.5GB RAM and 8GB of internal memory.

According to some of the photos, the smartphone comes packed with microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 64GB), which is positioned right under the battery cover alongside the SIM card slot.

Furthermore, the Galaxy J5 is expected to boast a more than decent 13-megapixel photo snapper on the back, which should feature autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording capabilities.

Also, on the front, there will be a 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls, which seems to have become the standard for Samsung Galaxy smartphones.

Last but not least, another piece of hardware that will be included in Samsung Galaxy J5 is the 2,600 mAh removable battery.

Since we're getting more info on the Galaxy J5 with each passing day, we expect the South Korean company to make it official very soon.
