Samsung has just taken the wraps off another mid-range Android smartphone, the Galaxy Ace Style LTE. The device is the sequel of the Galaxy Ace Style handset that’s been released on the market back in April.

Although the new smartphone has been tagged with the same price as the older model, it comes with slightly better features. Basically, this means that customers who purchased the previous Galaxy Ace Style model are likely to feel they have been ripped off by Samsung.

Instead of the 4-inch display included in the previous model, the new Galaxy Ace Style features a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 800 pixels.

In addition, as the name suggests, the new smartphone offers LTE support, whereas the standard Galaxy Ace Style only features HSDPA connectivity.

Another difference between the Galaxy Ace Style and the LTE variant would be the fact that the former packs 512MB of RAM, while the latter has 1GB of RAM.

The LTE-enabled Galaxy Ace Style is capable of running most Android apps and games in the Google Play Store, but owners of the previous model might have some restrictions due to the low amount of RAM.

On the back, Samsung Galaxy Ace Style LTE features a 5-megapixel photo snapper with LED flash, autofocus and video recording, while in the front there’s a secondary 1.3-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

Super AMOLED displays are unusual for such affordable smartphones

Hardware-wise, the smartphone is equipped with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and 4GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD card.

Unusual for an affordable Android handset, the Galaxy Ace Style LTE offers NFC (Near Field Communication) connectivity. Last but not least, the smartphone is powered by a 1900 mAh battery, which has been rated by the manufacturer for up to 11 hours of 3G talk time or up to 9 hours of LTE web browsing.

Just like its predecessor, the Galaxy Ace Style LTE ships with Android 4.4 KitKat operating system out of the box. Keep in mind that the smartphone is also referred to as Galaxy Ace 4, which is a completely different device that’s been released a few months ago.

For the time being, Samsung Galaxy Ace Style LTE is only available for purchase in Germany for €200 ($255) outright, but we suspect it will go on sale in other countries very soon. It’s also worth mentioning the smartphone has been released in both black and white color options.
