The device will probably sell only in South Korea

A while ago I was telling you Samsung was prepping a new variant of its flagship Galaxy Note 4 phablet. Well, the model is currently official, and as expected, it arrives with a Snapdragon 810 under the hood.

However, you can’t pick up the new Galaxy Note 4 just yet, but Samsung plans to make it available starting January in South Korea and then to expand onto several other markets as well (probably, although the company hasn't said anything about the matter).

Nonetheless, if we’re to think of the Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A that was made available only in Sammy’s home court, it makes sense the new Galaxy Note 4 will too.

The new model also comes with Cat.9 LTE on board, so you can expect to be wowed by some extremely fast download speeds.

The current model of the Galaxy Note 4 takes advantage of dual-band carrier aggregation LTE-A that bestows download speeds of up to 150 MB/s.

But the new Galaxy Note 4 LTE-A boasts tri-band carrier aggregation, so in theory one could see download speeds of up to 450 MB/s, but you won't see that anytime soon and 300 MB/s is the realistic number.

Another thing that Samsung was mum about in the official press release was how much the new phablet is going to cost. Given that the current Galaxy Note 4 is pretty expensive, we should expect the Snapdragon 810-enhanced model to go even higher.
