Samsung made Galaxy S5 the first smartphone to receive Android 5.0 Lollipop update. Not even the Galaxy Note 4 has gotten the update ahead of the last year's flagship smartphone.

However, as thrilled as Galaxy S5 owners have been when they found out that their smartphones would be the first to be upgraded to Lollipop, it looks like Samsung did a terrible job with the update.

Since the South Korean company kicked off the rollout of the update back in February, many of those who received Lollipop on their Samsung Galaxy S5 smartphones have found that the update is not without issues.

Unfortunately, Samsung has a long track of faulty updates, probably because its engineers aren't capable of optimizing the company's TouchWiz UI to work on new versions of Android once they are released on the market.

Android 5.0 Lollipop was no exception, which is why many Galaxy S5 users have reported that their phones' software has become unstable after upgrading.

Small updates are now released to Galaxy S5 phones

Although Samsung put the rollout of Android 5.0 Lollipop update on hold in some countries. Sadly, the damage was already done and many Galaxy S5 owners have already captured the update and they are now complaining of the fact that the Lollipop experience hasn't been fully optimized for this smartphone.

It's already been a few months since Samsung has started to deploy Android 5.0 Lollipop to Galaxy S5 phones and the company hasn't issued any statements regarding the problems that those who received the update experience now.

The only information we got emerged a few days ago when Samsung UK confirmed that the company's engineers were already sending micro updates to help solve any issues caused by Android 5.0 Lollipop.

This means that the South Korean company has already acknowledged the problems and is now working on a fix. We will keep an eye out for any additional details on the matter, so stay tuned.
