14 DAY TRIAL // The development team at Insomniac Games and publisher Microsoft are announcing plans to allow the player community for Sunset Overdrive to be the ones who decide the kind of downloadable content that will be delivered for the third-person shooter in the coming months via a simple voting system.
At the moment, gamers can choose between getting Buck National or Floyd costumes, and all those who want to take part need to go to the official site in order to express their opinion.
The winner of the Sunset Overdrive player vote will be offered in the first story downloadable content for the shooter, which is at the moment set to be delivered in early 2015.
The new Sunset Overdrive TV video also tackles such hot button issues as the newly launched weapons pack and the Thanksgiving Parade organized by Macy, which might be crashed by mascot Fizzle.
The new DLC for the title allows gamers to use such interesting weapons as the plague bomb, which makes enemies vomit and explode, the Rager, which confuses opponents and makes them attack each other, the Shield Buddy, a protection-focused item which also launches bombs, and a rocket launcher with multi lock, which can take out up to eight targets at the same time.
The Sunset Overdrive pack is free for all those who have gotten the Season Pass offer.

Sunset Overdrive is an Xbox One exclusive and the team at Microsoft in charge of it has been promoting the title even after it was launched, with a 24-hour free play period which took place during the previous weekend and a price cut.
Insomniac Games says that it will offer two single-player-focused expansions for its title, which will include new weapons to use, more enemies to face and might also introduce entirely new modes.
No dates have yet been mentioned for the coming campaigns.
The developers are well known for their ability to create very cool weaponry and the entire game has a cheerful apocalypse look that was a hit with fans on launch.
The title is part of a big strategy designed to make the Xbox One an attractive console for gamers, with a variety of game experiences that are not offered on the rival PlayStation 4 from Sony, which is at the moment leading the current-gen hardware race.
