15-year-old João Carvalho first picked up a pen and paper earlier this year, in June. However, he's such a talented artist that he can now create drawings that look as if they are just seconds away from walking off the page.

If you're having trouble believing me when I say that this 15-year-old can create positively stunning artwork, check out the photo gallery below. I guarantee that you will not be disappointed.

As detailed by Oddity Central, the Brazilian teenager starts by drawing lines on an otherwise plain piece of paper. For some reason, his color of choice is blue.

To create his drawings, he distorts these lines in such ways that they form the portraits and even the bodies of popular characters. Sometimes, he turns the lines into flowing water and even wrinkled paper.

Once the contour is create, 15-year-old João Carvalho adds shadows. This gives his drawings depth. The result is that, instead of regular portraits and representations of various objects, he creates absolutely amazing 3D illusions.

Seeing how talented João Carvalho is while still at this very young age, one can only assume that, when he grows a wee older and gain some more experience, he will create even more intricate drawings and designs.
