Legacy of the Void for Starcraft 2 might arrive this year

Just before the start of the World Championship for Starcraft 2, the team at Blizzard will deliver the multiplayer beta for the final installment in the series, Legacy of the Void, which is supposed to run for a relatively long period of time in order to allow the company to gather feedback from the player community.

The studio has already detailed a range of changes that it plans to make to the core game mechanics and to the units.

The biggest of them is that the flow of time in Legacy of the Void will be completely synced with that of the real world.

No official launch date for the new Starcraft 2 content has been offered so far by Blizzard, but the community expects to get access to it before the end of 2015.
