14 DAY TRIAL // Patience is running short among fans who are still waiting on the first trailer for “The Force Awakens” this Friday, but they are treated to something else juicy in the meantime as a rumor has surfaced online that the Star Wars sequel is going to deal with a bounty hunters storyline.
Slash Film has the scoop which, they claim, comes from “a single good source” and which has some insider information. As further proof that the information is accurate, the site claims that Lucas Film declined to comment when asked on the matter.
The insider claims that the movie is going to focus on a group of bounty hunters and that it's going to be chronologically set in the “A New Hope” era. We're talking about the events that start Luke Skywalker on his path and what is widely regarded as the most important part of the entire Star Wars universe in terms of popularity.
Many of you will immediately think about a Boba Fett spin-off and you might not be too far off but, at the moment, no official announcement has been made. However, the source of the rumor is not excluding the character out of the story at this point.
