One of the best games in the Star Wars franchise, Knights of the Old Republic has finally made the jump to Android. After being available in App Store for all iOS users to grab it, the folks over at Aspyr Media have finally finished working on the Android version and released the game in Google Play Store.

Even if you have already completed the game more than once, Knights of the Old Republic is one of those gems that deserve to be owned on all platforms that you have access to.

Not to mention that it’s no short of an excellent game for newcomers to the series. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is already available in PC and Mac but has yet to receive a Linux version.

With the addition of Android version, Knights of the Old Republic is now available on two of the most important mobile platforms in the market.

Those who are afraid that the mobile version of the game might have been trimmed down should know that developers specifically said that the Android game is the full Knights of the Old Republic experience.

This is one of the reasons Android players should download Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic over Wi-Fi network, as the file size is quite large.

Given the fact that Aspyr Media added the whole KOTOR package into the Android game, those who already completed the game know what to expect.

Choose your own pact, build your own party from 9 recruitable NPCs

Newcomers should know they will have the option of choosing their own paths. You can be hero or villain, savior or conqueror, but you will have to choose your path.

The game offers an epic RPG experience with lots of unique and powerful NPCs, creatures, vehicles and planets to visit. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic features more than 40 different powers that you can use with the Force. Players can also build and customize their own Lightsaber.

You can also create your own party by choosing from 9 NPCs, including Twi’leks, Droids and Wookiees. There are 8 huge worlds that players can visit in their Ebon Hawk starship.

Last but not least, KOTOR comes with full HID controller support for those who prefer the original control scheme, as well as achievements.

You can now download Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic for Android for $4.99 (€3.99) via Google Play Store. The game is fully compatible with most devices running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and up.
