With gamers now able to take a look at the impressive reveal trailer for Star Wars Battlefront, the development team at DICE and publisher Electronic Arts are announcing that all those interested can pre-order the title in the Origin service in order to get access to some exclusive items.

Players who want to pay for the video game before it is launched will be able to get access to the Battle of Jakku downloadable content early, on December 1.

The general public will only be able to play the same DLC, which is linked to "The Force Awakens" movie, one week later.

A Digital Deluxe Edition of Star Wars Battlefront is also offered on Origin to fans for the price of 69.99 dollars or Euro.

It provides access to five in-game items: DL44 blaster, which was used by Hand Solo in the movie, a set of ion grenades, an ion torpedo, an Ion Shock exclusive emote, and a Victory exclusive emote.

A standard version of Star Wars Battlefront is also available for 59.99 dollars or Euro.

On the PlayStation, 4 and the Xbox One, pre-orders for the video game should be open soon but it's unclear whether the same offers are available.

Star Wars Battlefront will add a new dimension to the series

The reveal trailer for the new DICE title is very impressive, with the Frostbite 3 engine used to bring the universe to life in interesting ways.

The studio says that it wants to capture the imagination of fans and to give them a new way of exploring the most exciting moments from the series.

Gameplay details are still thin on the ground, but DICE aims to reward players who are willing to explore and work with teammates with points that they can use to gain access to more powerful characters, including Darth Vader.

The game will also feature one big Walker Assault mode, which will take place on Endor and will allow as many as 40 players to battle both AT-ATs and a variety of fighters that seek to dominate the skies of the level.

Star Wars Battlefront will be offered on November 17 on the PC, the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4.
