14 DAY TRIAL // When Renee Zellweger stepped out on the red carpet on Monday night at the Elle Women in Hollywood Awards, paparazzi had to do a double take. No one could believe their eyes about how much the actress had changed her looks. Her face looked so different that people had a hard time recognizing her.
The image made rounds on the internet and Renee's photo quickly became trending on social media. Seeing the huge impression her new visage made on people, Renee decided to address the issue and she came out with an official statement in which she credited her new looks to healthy, stress-free living.

Now she is not the first person to change her lifestyle for the better, but so far no one has recorded a change in physical appearance so drastic just from a changing diet and leading a happier life. Sure, you might get rid of acne, or lines on your face and maybe a new shine to your skin, but there is no chance your face is going to change.
The Mirror sat down with a famous plastic surgeon and the doctor confirmed that Zellweger had extensive work done on her face to look the way she looks today. Dr. Fuat Yuksel claims that “it's apparent that she has undergone a number of subtle cosmetic procedures to change the appearance of her face.”

More to the point, the 45-year-old actress “has undergone some facial procedures to contour the shape of her face including, fillers around her nasolabial folds and cheeks to give her face a fuller appearance, plus botox around the brow area to tighten her skin and make it appear more youthful.”
But the biggest procedure Renee had done, according to the doctor, is the blepharoplasty (eye bag removal and lid reduction) which, he says “has opened up her eyes and face dramatically.”
Yuksel compares the actress with photos taken in her younger years and he took note that she had much heavier-looking eyelids which made her seem like she was constantly tired, but her new look means that she's had some skin or fat removed from that region.
This is not the first time the actress has been accused of having procedures done on her face. Botox injections and fillers were something that Renee is said to have gotten on a regular basis, as well as the occasional eyelift, not to mention a chin implant, a shift in brow position and even a realignment in her eyeline.
Zellweger dismisses all the plastic surgery rumors, calling them “silly.” “People don't know me in my 40s. People don't know me [as] healthy for a while. Perhaps I look different. Who doesn't as they get older?! Ha. But I am different. I'm happy,” she adds confidently.
