Wearable devices are good for all sorts of things, but did you know that one of them can help you store up your personal data too?

That’s right, Pinto offers the convenience of a Bluetooth storage unit you can wear on your wrist all the time. The device is said to be a personal cloud you can wirelessly access from your arm.

Pinto is a one-size-fits-all kind of deal, coming in the form of a rubber waterproof strap, so you don’t have to worry about it getting near water.

The wristband has a single physical button which you have to use to do stuff with it. On top of that, Pinto is outfitted with three LED lights displayed in a row which show you information related to battery status (wireless charging and magnetic charging cap scenarios are both viable).

Pinto will be offered in 32GB and 64GB storage options and those who will be buying these wearables to store sensitive data will be given password protection.

For the time being the wearable is just a prototype, but the folks behind Pinto are working towards setting up an Indiegogo campaign to fund it into production. Still, we don’t know how much one of these little wearables will cost.
