Yesterday we got a sneak peek at the video for the latest collaboration between Daft Punk and Pharrell Williams, but today the video has arrived in full. As a testament to the fall season, the clip shows off some impressive autumnal colors and themes which seem to complement the lyrics and the feel of the song.

The director responsible for the unique visuals is Edgar Wright, film director, whose previous projects include “Shaun of the Dead” and “Hot Fuzz.” Based on what can be seen in the video, it's safe to say that he's also good at music clips.

The footage shows Pharrell performing in a forest dominated by red and yellow leaves. Meanwhile, dancers appear out of nowhere and begin a mesmerizing routine in matching outfits. The entire scene is oddly reminiscent of the visuals from a Chinese movie, “Hero,” with Jet Lee, where kimono-clad women also flew through the air in a mock combat surrounded by yellow and red leaves falling.

Daft Punk is present in the video in the form of two giant monoliths shaped like the famous helmets of the French electronic duo. As the song progresses, the heads rise from the ground and begin floating through the air, lighting up with colorful lights, as they sing their part of the chorus.

The song “Gust of Wind” is the third single to get a video from Pharrell's new album “G I R L” after “Marilyn Monroe” and “Come Get It Bae.”
