Pamela Anderson’s love life would make a perfect storyline for a solid soap opera, especially since she can’t seem to make up her mind about how she feels for Rick Salomon. They were remarried last year, but the former “Baywatch” bombshell is ready to drop the ball on the union - for the third time.

The star is yet to issue a statement on the latest development in her life, but TMZ claims to have it on good authority that, this time, she’s determined to not go back to Rick.

Pamela wants out of the marriage, spousal support

When Anderson filed for divorce from Rick the first time, she didn’t want a dime of his money, hoping for a clean and quick break, so each could go back to their life. Clues left by her online hinted at some kind of huge domestic dispute before the breakup, so she probably wanted to be out as quickly as possible.

This time, though, she wants spousal support, the aforementioned media outlet says.

As a famous poker player, Salomon is worth an estimated $16 million (€14 million), which is considerably more than what Anderson is worth right now, after a series of financial setbacks and the fact that job offers aren’t exactly pouring in.

It is believed her entire estate isn’t bigger than $5 million (€4.3 million).

Neither Anderson nor Salomon has confirmed the separation and the divorce filing as of the time of writing.

A troubled romance

Rick and Pamela were first married in 2007, in a quickie ceremony that took the entire world by surprise. At the time, he was still getting media attention for starring in Paris Hilton’s infamous homemade film, and she was still being outrageous in public whenever she had the chance.

They were, to paraphrase how celebrity pundits described them, two hot messes who had decided to get hitched, a union made in hot mess heaven. But at least they seemed to be having a lot of fun together, so whether they were really in love or not, they still showed some promise as a couple.

Surprisingly, 2 months later, they asked for an annulment, which they got. An annulled marriage can mean one of two things: fraud or that the marriage was never consummated. People believe it was the former.

Then, in early 2014, Pam and Rick got married for the second time, defying all odds and all those who kept insisting they weren’t made for each other. They made it for a bit longer: it took Pamela 6 months to file for divorce, and then to quietly withdraw the papers and give the relationship another try.

Apparently, the third time is the charm - if that’s what you call the realization that things are simply not working out.
