The PS4 and PS Vita consoles will be officially released in China on March 20, with Sony apparently confirming that they'll be accompanied by quite a few games that have already been translated into simplified Chinese such as Knack, Rayman Legends, or Trials Fusion.

After launching back in November of 2013, the PS4 in several territories around the world, Sony has slowly but surely brought its new home console to all sorts of countries, with one major exception being China.

In the Asian country, Sony had to partner with a Shanghai firm and ensure that its device respects the restrictions imposed by the Chinese Ministry of Culture, which banned the actual sale of video game consoles for many years. This led to a major increase in PC gaming, as computers and their game sales weren't regulate.

The PS4 and PS Vita are launching in China this month

After going through all the red tape, it seems that Sony is ready to debut both the PS4 and PS Vita in China on March 20.

The announcement, arriving from A9VG, via NeoGAF, confirms that the two consoles will be on sale this month and that they'll have a variety of games translated into simplified Chinese.

On the PS4, these are Knack, Rayman Legends, Trials Fusion, King of Wushu, or Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends Complete Edition.

On the PS Vita, the localized titles include Final Fantasy X HD and X-2 HD, Tokiden Kiwami, or Farming Simulator 14, in addition to Rayman Legends or the Dynasty Warriors 8.

It's unclear what sort of region lock or restrictions are imposed onto the consoles sold in China, as while games might not have any limitation, the actual devices might not be usable outside the country.

Expect Sony and its Chinese partners to make a formal announcement with all the necessary details in the following days.
