The artwork appeared on a street corner in London out of the blue, nobody has any idea who created it

It just so happens that somebody in London, UK, had a whole lot of time to spare over the weekend. So much so that they spent what one can only presume turned out to be hours on end creating a toast replica of the Taj Mahal.

Having been completed, the bizarre work of art, a photo of which is available next to this article, was then simply abandoned on a street corner for passers-by to admire, maybe even taste.

31-year-old Tom McKenzie was one of the people who were lucky enough to cross paths with the toast sculpture. The man snapped a few photos, posted them online, and soon enough, news of this odd Taj Mahal replica started to spread.

“It's just one of those things that you walk past and think, ‘That's not something you see every day!’” 31-year-old Tom McKenzie said in a statement, as cited by Mirror.

As mentioned, it is unclear who made this toast sculpture of the Taj Mahal and why they saw fit to abandon it on a street corner rather than eat it or share photos of it themselves.

Tom McKenzie suspects that somebody created it for a family gathering or something of the sorts. “I’d like to think someone’s done it for some kind of family celebration, rather than something arty, but who knows?” he said.
