The development team at Sumo Digital and publisher Sony are announcing that the new LittleBigPlanet 3 will incorporate all the downloadable content and all the extra items that gamers have been able to buy and collect for the first and the second title in the series.

Basically, the game is designed to incorporate all extra elements and give all players a simple and fast mechanics to download everything they own with the touch of one button.

The official announcement on the PlayStation Blog states, “So if you have a whopping collection of goodies that you have purchased over the last six years, you can be rest assured that a simple re-download from LBP3’s in-game store will add your favorite content back into your Popit for use in LittleBigPlanet 3 at no additional cost.”

The studio aims to make sure that gamers are able to get creative right away and wants to assure the community that there’s no need to spend more money on the series than they already have.

At the same time, Sony says that all the levels published for the first two titles in the LittleBigPlanet series are available when the third one launches on the Earth feature.

The company adds, “if you have any custom content that you want to transfer from your PS3 to LittleBigPlanet 3 on PS4, you can publish levels containing this content in Prize Bubbles so that your Sackboy or Sackgirl can visit these levels to pick your goodies up for your latest creations on PS4!”

LittleBigPlanet 3 aims to unlock players’ creativity

The new game will be offered on both the PlayStation 4 and the PS3 and Sony clearly wants most players to experience it on the newer home console.

The game retains the core elements of the series, with a platforming core which is backed by a wide variety of items for gamers to collect and to use.

Sony says that it will offer a more detailed set of instructions for the transfer process of content for LittleBigPlanet 3 closer to launch date.

The title will be offered in North America on November 18 and in Europe on November 26.

The game benefits from a variety of celebrity voices, including Hugh Laurie, Nolan North and Stephen Fry.

The developers have promised that, once LittleBigPlanet 3 is out, they have plans to deliver a variety of extra content packs filled with new creative possibilities.
