14 DAY TRIAL // Lenovo Vibe Shot is a mid-end Android smartphone that's been officially introduced back in February at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015 trade fair.
Earlier this month, a slightly lower version of the Vibe Shot was spotted at TENAA, the Chinese regulatory commission.
Codenamed Lenovo Z90-7, the smartphone has a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 720p resolution, unlike the original model that features a full HD (1080p) screen.
This slightly lower Lenovo Vibe Shot handset also replaces the 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with a MediaTek MT6753 chipset that accommodates an octa-core CPU as well.
But it looks like Lenovo plans to launch yet another Vibe Shot version, which is likely to be just another regional model. Lenovo Z90-3 was spotted at the same Chinese wireless regulator, but the changes are not that big.
Dual-SIM and 4G LTE are included in all models
Beside the fact that it comes with a 5-inch display that supports 720p resolution, the recently spotted Lenovo Z90-3 has the same features as the original Vibe Shot smartphone.
It's unclear when exactly these Lenovo Vibe Shot versions will be launched on the market, but we're almost sure that they will only be available in some regions.
They will ship with Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system out of the box. Both versions of Lenovo Vibe Shot will pack 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot.
The main selling point of the Vibe Shot is the 16-megapixel camera on the back, which features triple LED flash, autofocus and video recording, as well as the secondary 8-megapixel camera in the front for great selfies and video calls.
Both handsets offer dual-SIM and 4G LTE support, but they sport 720p displays instead of full HD (1080p) screens. Obviously, we expect these lower-specced Vibe Shot smartphones to be priced cheaper than the original model.
