“She is actually really, really into him,” says spy

Contrary to reports that Leonardo DiCaprio was looking to hook up with “Fifty Shades of Grey” star Dakota Johnson, having put the moves on her at the 40th anniversary bash of Saturday Night Live, he is still with pop star Rihanna, claims a new report.

In fact, things between the two are heating up, a source familiar with the situation explains for Radar Online.

Leo is Rihanna’s “childhood crush”

Rumor that Rihanna may be Leo’s rebound after another breakup from a Victoria’s Secret model started making the rounds in January this year, when they happened to attend the same party together, and they were reportedly seen “making out.”

Shortly afterwards, sources claimed that they had actually been hooking up for at least a couple of years, but that they weren’t dating, because the relationship was mostly physical, of the no-strings-attached kind.

At the same time, it was said that Rihanna did want it to get serious, and even that she was pressuring him into losing weight and getting a six-pack before she introduced him to the world as her new man. Then came yesterday’s rumor about him starting dating Dakota.

Radar claims that RiRi and Leo never broke up, so chances are he never tried to make a move on Dakota. As per the publication’s spy, we’re to understand that it was the singer who pursued him, because he was her “childhood crush,” and now that she had him, she didn’t want to let him go.

Things are heating up

“She is actually really, really into him,” the tipster shares. Proof of that came at a party held last weekend at a private estate in the Hollywood Hills, where they were again kissing in front of everybody, not even trying to hide from the other guests.

“They appeared to be very much a couple and he was going to great lengths to make sure that everyone there knew she was with him,” adds the same unnamed source.

Assuming the report is accurate, if they’re dating, it won’t be long until fans at home get some form of confirmation, even if their respective publicists don’t issue statements on the topic.

It’s common occurrence for celebrities to want to keep new romances under wraps until they’re convinced they’re serious. In this sense, their first public outing as a couple is the equivalent of regular people introducing a new special someone to their friends or family.

Leo isn’t big into statements on his personal life, but he does get papped a lot. So if he’s really dating Rihanna, the moment they’re ready to make the relationship public, we will have paparazzi photos, no doubt about it.
