“Glee” on Fox is coming to an end: season 6 of the hit musical series will also be its last, as series creator Ryan Murphy announced a while back. The first episode of the new season included a beautiful cover by Lea Michele of the hit song from Disney’s “Frozen,” “Let It Go.”

Originally performed by Idina Menzel, it’s perhaps one of the most popular tracks of the past year, so getting approval to have it on “Glee” must not have been easy. Even if it was, it meant a lot of pressure on Lea to give it her best and make her cover one that stood out.

This also led to a rather funny incident that happened on set, during filming, the actress and singer told Jimmy Kimmel the other night, in an appearance on his show.

“I looked up, trying to make it magical and beautiful,” she said of shooting the scene, “and ended up choking on the snow and vomiting.” Because the cameras were there shooting, the whole thing is on film somewhere, she laughed. In slow motion, no less.

Another funny thing happened when all the crew members with kids brought them along for the shooting, and they (the children) thought that Lea was the real Elsa from “Frozen” and couldn’t stop staring at her in wonder. That made it up for the previous incident with the puking, she added.

You can see a segment of Lea’s interview with Kimmel in the video below. The second one is from the season 6 premiere episode, when she covered “Let It Go.”
