The new game adjusts the difficulty on the fly

A brand new developer diary video for Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris game has just appeared, offering fresh details alongside plenty of gameplay footage from the four-player co-op title.

Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris promises to continue the pretty impressive top-down adventure experience seen in Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light a few years ago.

After sharing plenty of details earlier this year, during different trade shows like E3 2014 or Gamescom 2014, Square Enix has just presented a fresh video with Temple of Osiris in action.

The developer diary features not just a lot of gameplay footage but also insight from some of the developers at Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix.

Among the most interesting things revealed in the trailer is the fact that the game's difficulty automatically adjusts when a new player joins the fray. As such, those who play alone or just with one friend shouldn't worry about finding too difficult adventures in the campaign. Meanwhile, veteran four-man teams will see their abilities challenged when entering the game, so expect a fun experience overall.

Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris is set to debut in December across the PC, PS4, and Xbox One platforms worldwide.
