The G Flex2 has already been confirmed to arrive in the United States at all major carriers, and those interested will be able to pre-order the smartphone beginning this month. However, the curved smartphone won't be available for purchase until March.

Today, LG has announced that it has started the global rollout of the G Flex2, which means that the device will be available in most countries in the coming months.

According to the South Korean company, the first countries to get the LG G Flex2 will be US, Hong Kong, Singapore, France, Germany and the UK.

Other countries in North and South America, as well as Europe and Asia, where the LG G Flex2 will be launched will be announced in the weeks following Mobile World Congress 2015 (MWC).

LG G Flex2 was officially unveiled last month at CES 2015 and hasn’t been released on the market yet. Still, since it was announced by LG, we already know what it has to offer in terms specs.

The curved smartphone will ship with Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system out of the box and will be among the first handsets to be released on the market with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 processor that packs a 2GHz 64-bit octa-core processor.

Other highlights of the smartphone include a curved 5.5-inch full HD P-OLED display with 403ppi (pixel per inch). On the inside, the G Flex2 packs 2GB of RAM and either 16GB or 32GB of internal memory.

On top of that, LG G Flex2 comes with microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 2TB). On the back, the smartphone features a 13-megapixel camera with Laser Auto Focus, OIS and video recording, as well as a secondary 2.1-megapixel photo snapper on the front.

“The G Flex2 shows the world that there’s still room for design innovation in today’s smartphones beyond just metal frames and larger displays. We think the G Flex2 is the perfect example of form and function coming together beautifully.”

“It’s a smartphone that people simply won’t be able to take their eyes off of,” said Juno Cho, president and CEO of the LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company.
