Good news for AT&T customers that have been waiting for the carrier to launch a high-end smartphone that would stand out from others, LG G Flex 2 has been confirmed to arrive later this week.

According to AT&T, LG G Flex 2 will go on sale online via the carrier's online and retail stores on April 24. The smartphone will be available for $710 outright or $300 with a new two-year agreement.

Additionally, customers will also be able to purchase the G Flex 2 for $0 down with AT&T Next at $23.64 per month for 30 installments on AT&T Next 24, $29.55 per month on AT&T Next 18 for 24 installments, or $35.45 on AT&T Next 12 for 20 installments.

The G Flex 2 will ship with Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system right out of the box, along with LG UX on top. The smartphone is already available in many countries, but also in the United States through US Cellular and Sprint.

The moment of arrival at AT&T has been weirdly chosen by the carrier though, as since LG plans to launch its next flagship smartphone late next month. This could affect the LG G Flex 2 sales in the United States.

Curved display and self-healing back panel

Anyway, those interested in acquiring the G Flex 2 should know that the smartphone's main selling point is the 5.5-inch curved P-OLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution and features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating.

It also comes with the same self-healing back panel coating that was also part of the previous LG G Flex model.

Hardware-wise, the G Flex 2 comes packed with a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor clocked at 2GHz, an Adreno 430 graphics processing unit and 3GB of RAM.

The smartphone also features 32GB of internal memory, as well as microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 128GB).

On the back, LG G Flex 2 boasts a 13-megapixel photo snapper with laser autofocus, OIS (optical image stabilization), dual-LED flash and 4K video recording, while in the front there's a secondary 2.1-megapixel camera for video calls.

Other highlights of LG's high-end smartphone include 3,000 mAh non-removable battery, fast battery charging, NFC (Near Field Communication), Dolby mobile audio technology, Bluetooth 4.1 and LTE support.
