14 DAY TRIAL // Kristen Stewart didn’t rebound from her failed romance with “Twilight” co-star Robert Pattinson in the arms of another Hollywood hunk or a non-famous guy, she did it in the arms of her best friend, Alicia Cargile.
The two became inseparable after the very public scandal involving Kristen, Robert and director Rupert Sanders, with whom she cheated on Robert, and became romantically involved too around April 2014.
Kristen and Alicia go public, hold hands
Kristen may be one of the most famous and media exposed celebrities of the younger generation, but she’s not exactly thrilled to talk about her personal life in the press. In fact, that’s the last thing she’ll do if she can help it.
So it’s no wonder that she never spoke about Alicia or the nature of their relationship. In more recent months, when she was asked point-blank by the paparazzi if she was in a lesbian relationship, she only smiled and refused to say anything.
In February this year, she and Alicia were said to have moved in together, as their relationship had grown more serious. By that time, they were already sporting matching tattoos and no longer trying to hide from the paparazzi whenever they went out together.
They even held hands at the crowded LAX, in full view of the paparazzi, which was considered their coming out but could have easily been their way of making sure they didn’t get separated.

Don’t expect an announcement too soon
If the way she handled her romance with Pattinson in the media is any indication, it would be foolish to expect Kristen Stewart to make some kind of statement about her orientation anytime soon, at least, not of the kind that comes on the cover of People, with large block letters proclaiming, “Yes, I’m gay / bi!”
She is notoriously private and doesn’t like to mix her private life with her work in the way many other actors do, especially when they have something new to promote.
For instance, as we speak, Kristen is actually in the middle of a promo trail for “The Clouds of Sils Maria.” If she really wanted to come out on TV in a major way, she could have done it. Instead, she chooses to talk about her work, her career and her plans for the future, drawing the line between being an actress and being a celebrity.
