Actress fell out of her Chanel at the Hollywood Film Awards

Kristen Stewart is one of the biggest celebrities from the younger generation, and has probably gotten more media attention since she starred in “The Twilight Saga” than Jennifer Aniston, which is saying a lot. With all that, she doesn’t let it go to her head.

Over the weekend, the actress made an appearance at the Hollywood Film Awards 2014, to honor co-star Julianne Moore, and at the same time, promote their movie together, the drama “Still Alice,” which is getting solid Oscar buzz already.

While on stage, Kristen literally fell out of her Channel mini dress and came very close to embarrassing herself completely. But she’s not upset about it.

Kristen’s mishap was a big deal for the media

Even though the media, both fashion publications and glossies / tabloids, made a huge fuss about her mishap, Kristen isn’t really bothered.

The reason why the incident got so much media attention is because she’s a Chanel girl, and as such, she has access to the most exquisite and well-tailored outfits from the fashion house. This should rule out the possibility of her wearing a dress two sizes too small, like the one she had on at the HFAs.

The other reason people cared so much was because Kristen’s ex-boyfriend, Robert Pattinson, was in attendance, and everyone assumed she would be mortified if she had such a mishap with him present. Last but not least, this was shocking news because it was the first time that Kristen committed such a faux-pas in public.

It’s not a big deal for her, though

“She is not worried about it. It’s not a big deal,” a source close to the actress tells Hollywood Life. Kristen is perfectly confident with her body and she would even take it all off for the camera, for a role, if that’s what it required to make it more convincing.

So this, having her dress fall down and expose her modesty, isn’t really that tragic or newsworthy to her. In fact, the insider continues, she’s not even thinking about it anymore. More scandalous things could have happened: for instance, she could have been one of the dozens of female celebrities who were hacked and had their private photos posted online, for the entire world to see.

“[It’s] certainly not the worst thing cameras have caught from her. Not a big deal at all,” adds another source.

Kristen will be campaigning for her first Oscar

It’s only natural for Kristen not to think this mishap was a trifle, if you consider she’s got much bigger fish to fry right now: the former “Twilight” alum, who has often been criticized for her wooden acting and her constant lip-biting, is now getting a lot of Oscar buzz for her role in “Still Alice.”

In the film, which will be out in a limited run in December, she plays the daughter of Moore’s character, a linguist who’s been diagnosed with early-stage Alzheimer's. Producers have already confirmed that Stewart will be receiving backup for a campaign for a Best Supporting Actress nomination.

Even if she doesn’t get the nomination, the fact that she will be campaigning for one will mean more gorgeous fashion from her, on red carpets at screenings and in interviews. And hopefully, no more mishaps.
