14 DAY TRIAL // British actor Robert Pattinson and British singer FKA Twigs got engaged after 8 months of dating, more or less, and his ex-girlfriend, actress Kristen Stewart, is furious that she dated him for years but he never proposed to her.
According to insiders speaking to Radar Online, Kristen hates the idea that Robert could move on from her so quickly, but especially that he’d be ready to walk down the aisle after less than a year of dating. She thinks he might only be trying to get back at her for cheating.
“He never gave her the option of marriage”
The report doesn’t flat-out say that Kristen was still hoping she and Robert would get back together, but it’s heavily implied: she feels betrayed and is angry, and she doesn’t know whether to say something about it to him or her friends.
Most importantly, Kristen is feeling furious that “he never gave her the option of marriage” when he was dating her, even though they were together for much longer than he and Twigs.
“Every time she tried to bring it up he would always shoot her down and say he was not ready. The fact that he was all of a sudden ready just really annoys her,” says a spy. “She really wonders if part of the reason he got involved with FKA Twigs so quickly is to get back at her.”
The reason Robert would want to get back at her is that she cheated on him with Rupert Sanders, who directed her in “Snow White and the Huntsman” and who was married at the time. When photos of the two making out in her Mini Cooper in a parking lot emerged online, the scandal was huge.
Rumor has it that it broke Robert’s heart.
Robert and Twigs are preparing for a summer wedding
Since we’re already knee-deep in rumors and speculation, here’s another report that’s making the rounds right now: apparently, Robert and Twigs are planning a summer wedding.
However, it won’t be a wedding in the traditional sense, because they’d like something very unconventional and very intimate, like a pub wedding or something along these lines. His parents still hope they can talk them into a church wedding, but they have small chances of success.
The two met through common friends and hit it off immediately. Since the early stages of the romance, they have been almost inseparable, with Robert making sure to schedule his work commitments in such a way as to be able to accompany Twigs on her international tour.
