Kim Kardashian’s first years in the spotlight included the menial task of cleaning Paris Hilton’s closet every time she felt it wasn’t tidy enough (in front of reality TV cameras, no less) and being the hanger-on Paris could freely dress in matching clothes and parade around town.

Today, Kim is making millions on her own and sits at the helm of a business empire that includes, besides her reality show and all its spinoffs, fashion and accessories lines, beauty products, and all kinds of endorsement deals.

It was already known that Kim charges a lot to appear at a club to “party” for a few hours and thus get said establishment some much-needed media attention. Radar Online has now obtained a series of emails going back and forth between Kardashian’s rep and a brand that was looking to hire her as their spokesperson – and they reveal just the kind of money the curvaceous reality star makes from endorsements.

$750,000 - $1 million (€584,645 - €779,356) at the very least or she’s not even considering

Kim Kardashian is the most photographed woman on earth right now. Her name is internationally known and she can make headlines for something as simple as going out for a bite to eat or stepping out for a movie date.

In other words, whatever Kim does, it attracts attention from the media, so her association with a business translates into increased media exposure for the business. In this sense, she is the most powerful woman in showbiz, but don’t imagine her endorsement comes cheap. Far from it, actually.

Radar Online has obtained several emails between Kim’s rep and a brand looking into options to hire her. The rep is very specific from the start: unless they’re ready to pay her a fee of minimum $750,000 - $1 million (€584,645 - €779,356), there is no sense in wasting time.

The cheaper endorsement from the extended Kardashian – Jenner family comes from Kendall Jenner, whose minimum fee is of $500,000 (€389,851).

With Kim though, that’s just the tip of the iceberg, because she also requires extra expenses that could double that amount.

Exposure doesn’t come cheap: Kim Kardashian wants first class everything

If the endorsement deal requires Kim to travel, she only wants the best of everything, so her demands are as follows: “5 first class tickets, plus 1 coach, first class hotel accommodations (1 suite for talent and standard rooms for others in party), portal to portal first class exclusive ground transportation, airport greeter service, security, glam fee (day rate for her hair and makeup squad), and a per diem.”

She is “talent” in that quote from the rep’s email above. So, besides the standard minimum fee and the expenses, Kim also requires a per diem. The rep doesn’t say how much that is, but knowing Kim, it can only be a lot.

Non-financial requirements include “approval over photographer, all photos used in print materials, glam squad (hair, makeup, stylist, manicurist), hotel/airline/car service and PR usage” and the “need to review and approve [the media plan] with her PR team.”

In layman terms, that means that Kim wants complete control over her image during all these appearances and the right to veto whatever she doesn’t like, even if the company hiring her likes it.
