14 DAY TRIAL // It’s been a year since Khloe Kardashian filed for divorce from Lamar Odom, but it doesn’t look like the proceedings will be finalized anytime soon. A few days ago, the estranged spouses met for the first time in a very long while, after Lamar’s repeated attempts to dodge her, and the outcome was the exact opposite of what it should have been.
Though they’re yet to make it official, Khloe and Lamar are back together after this emotional meeting, insiders familiar to the situation are cited as saying by InTouch Weekly.
Apparently, Khloe’s family doesn’t know yet – and she dreads the moment they find out.
“She was lost and in tears”
As per the insider, who (of course!) spoke under the condition of total anonymity, Khloe finally got Lamar to meet with her so they could discuss the divorce and she could make him understand that he needed to sign the papers.
Rumor online has it that he’s been avoiding her and refusing to sign them since the filing, which is making the procedures drag along unnecessarily. They have a very solid prenup in place and don’t have children, so this should have been over a while ago.
Lamar has been doing his best to derail the divorce because he was still hoping he could get Khloe to forgive him and give him (and their marriage) another chance. This happened during that meeting, when he did sign the papers.
The gesture took Khloe by complete surprise, as did the realization that she and Lamar were done for good, now that he’d finally put his name on the dotted line.
“Khloe lost it. She could not contain herself at all. She was lost and in tears,” says an insider, adding that they spent a lot of time together afterwards… presumably doing stuff they did when they were still a couple. That kind of things.
Khloe doesn’t want the family to know
So Khloe is now back with Lamar, if these spies are reliable. She’s yet to go public with it because she feels like she needs more time to process this and to think of a way to make the marriage work, because the split was heartbreaking for her and she obviously doesn’t want to go through that all over again.
She’s also hesitant in letting her family know of the change because she knows that they will be up in arms against Lamar, particularly her mother and manager Kris Jenner, to whom she recently reproached that she would have still been married to Lamar had it not been for her intervention.
“She knows her family would be absolutely livid if they got wind she was sneaking off with Lamar,” says the tipster.
Assuming any of this is true, Khloe should have probably taken a bit more cautions before stepping out with her estranged ex in a public place, because it’s a well-known fact that Kris has Google alerts on all her children, so she probably knows of this alleged meeting already.
Still, Khloe’s fans must be thrilled at the development.
