The Duchess is going to have an April baby

When Kensington Palace announced that Kate Middleton was pregnant for a second time, it failed to mention one important fact: how far along the Duchess of Cambridge actually was. This was important for two reasons, one of them being that we could then determine the child's birth date and the other was that it proved which baby reports were real and which were fake.

The latest reports quoted by Entertainmentwise claim that Kate is actually 10 weeks pregnant, which is quite far along. It was reported that the Duchess feared a miscarriage for a long time so she hesitated to reveal to the world that she was with child. That included her family, who apparently only found out days before the press release was given to the world.

The second baby is expected to come in April, Kate's bump is still not showing

Someone has already done the math and concluded that Prince George's sibling is going to arrive in the world next year in April, meaning Kate Middleton is going to have a spring baby, next to her summer baby.

Kate was spotted out to dinner earlier this week and promptly photographed getting out of a pub with Prince William, but there was not even the smallest hint of a baby bump, indicating that the pregnancy was indeed in the first trimester.

That means that Kate still has at least six months left of her pregnancy, which is not exactly happy news for her, since she is known to be suffering from extreme morning sickness. In fact, the condition has gotten so bad that Kate has had to cancel her appearance scheduled to take place this weekend in Malta. She will instead be replaced by Prince William.

The move to Norfolk was caused by Kate's troubles with her pregnancy

A source close to the royal couple is quoted as saying, “they are so excited that George will be getting a younger brother or sister next April and Kate's just bravely fighting through this unwell stage under the guidance of palace doctors.”

Her second pregnancy and the troubles it brought seem to have affected the family's decision to move from Kensington Palace in London to Anmer Hall in Norfolk, a country retreat. “Kate and William unofficially moved to Amner Hall earlier this summer and they've been there for much of her pregnancy so far. It is their countryside home and she can relax and go for walks through the fields and woods with Lupo in the country air, which is a real tonic for her.,” said another insider.

If experience has thought us anything, it's likely that Kate won't be showing her baby bump until much later in the pregnancy. But that doesn't mean that the public isn't feverishly waiting for those photos to land online.
