Finally some good news from Buckingham Palace. After a long period in which she was brought down by acute morning sickness, Kate Middleton is said to be feeling better and is now ready to take on her royal duties yet again.

The Daily Mail reports that after three weeks of recovery, the Duchess is feeling well enough to resume her official engagement on behalf of the Crown. A spokesman for the Crown is quoted as saying “There will be engagements in October and November. We just haven't announced them yet.”

Kate's acute morning sickness is becoming less troubling, she's well enough to start working again

For those that haven't kept up with the news, Kate was diagnosed with hyperemesis gravidarium, a condition which only affects 2% of pregnant women and which causes extreme morning sickness in the patient, enough to leave them unable to perform certain tasks.

This is not the first time that Kate is diagnosed with the condition. During her first pregnancy with Prince George, Kate was reported to have the same symptoms and was admitted in the hospital at the time. Admittedly, this time around, it wasn't as bad as the Duchess didn't need to visit the hospital, although she received constant attention from the Queen's doctors.

The Duchess had her last official engagement on August 5, where she visited a poppy installation at the Tower of London with Princes William and Harry. Just last week, she was forced to pull out at the final moment for a visit to Malta on behalf of the Queen, because of her poor health, and she was replaced by Prince William.

The royal couple is now ready to move into their new home, Anmer Hall

The next step for the couple is to move into their new home, Anmer Hall, in Norfolk, a ten-bedroom Georgian pile which they have been renovating for some time, precisely for this purpose. It's going to serve them well, especially since William is going to start training as an ambulance helicopter pilot soon in Norfolk.

Because Kate felt poorly and had to pull out of an engagement party in Oxford last month, the Crown was forced to announce her pregnancy early and thus sent the media into a frenzy. Now that the news is out, bets are being made on the gender of the next royal baby.

Palace sources have confirmed that this time it's going to be not one, but two girls, since the doctors reportedly found out she was having twins. From then on, it was a battle to find out the baby's names, but it was speculated that, as soon as the Queen found out about the twin girls, she insisted on naming them after her and her late sister.
