14 DAY TRIAL // James Cameron is keen to promote his “Avatar” movie sequels (remember the movie with the blue people that weren't the Smurfs?) that he's willing to say the craziest things to the publications that are taking an active interest in the production process taking place on the other side of the Globe right now.
The director has spoken with Empire Online and promised that the new movies are going to be so awesome that “they're gonna be [expletive]. You will [expletive] yourself with your mouth wide open.” Normally a laid back and serious person, the director all of a sudden releases a string of profanities that might leave the readers out there gagging.
Cameron is currently working on Avatar 2, 3 and 4 at the same time in New Zealand, all for continuity purposes but also for financial reasons, since studios learned that having the crew on location for two movies reduces the costs considerably.
Actors Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana will return as Jake Sully and Neytiri, and even Sigourney Weaver is expected to make a return despite the fact that her character died at the end of the first movie.
As far as those 60 frames per second rumors, Cameron claims that he's going to leave that for the video market and instead he's going to shoot the movies in 48 frames per second which should still be enough to create some visually stunning effects.
Now if only Cameron could control his excitement and not speak about the movie in such crude terms.
