Intel has provided its NUC (Next Unit Computing) users with a fresh Gigabit Ethernet controller driver update, namely version 19.5, which is compatible with both 32- and 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 operating systems.

When it comes to supported devices, Intel’s release can be applied on D33217GKE, D34010WYB, D53427RKE, D54250WYB, and DCP847SKE NUC boards, as well as on D34010WYK, D54250WYK, DC3217IYE, DC53427HYE, and DCCP847DYE NUC kit products.

As for installing the packages, simply make sure you own one of the aforementioned devices, download the appropriate executable for your OS and bit variant, open it, and allow the installer to extract all files required for the upgrade.

Afterwards, select “Next,” read the producer’s license agreement, agree with it by choosing the corresponding radio box and clicking “Next” (twice), and finally hit “Install.”

As an aside, if desired, you can also choose to apply Intel’s Network Connections SNMP Agent, but only if Microsoft’s SNMP Service is already present on your system. If not, you must install the service prior to upgrading the Ethernet version.

Last but not least, after following these steps, wait for the update to finish and make sure to reboot the system upon completion. If the wizard doesn’t request this task, you should still perform it, as this will ensure all changes take effect properly.

With this in mind, download Intel NUC Gigabit Ethernet Controller Driver 19.5 for your specific system configuration, take into account all aforementioned aspects, and install the latest network driver on your device.
