The two have been engaged since 2012, plan to tie the knot

Since the Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt wedding, the tabloids have been keen to pin a date on the Jennifer Aniston wedding to Justin Theroux. Several reports have emerged up until now, but so far none has proven to be true.

OK! Magazine claims to have spoken with an insider close to the couple and this source swears that the Aniston wedding is coming, as the actors have set the date for their big day. Though Aniston and Theroux have been engaged since 2012, they don't seem to be in a rush to go down the altar.

The actress was said to be pushing Theroux to marry her by the end of the year

Previous reports claimed that Aniston was furious with Theroux and with his stalling, and that she was ready to call it quits if he didn't step up and marry her until the end of the year. But now a source is claiming that “It's really happening! Jen is excited beyond belief. She says it will be the best day of her life.”

When questioned about the date and time, the insider claims that Jennifer is tight-lipped, “If you try asking, she'll change the subject to keep everybody guessing.”

The couple is looking for a small, intimate affair, away from the public eye

The only thing we can be sure of at this point is that “neither of them wants a huge, glitzy wedding.” The couple has apparently planned a low-key event in a private location which is, by all accounts, exactly what Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have done when they had a secret ceremony with just friends and family at the French château.

There was some speculation that Justin was feeling outside pressure to marry Jennifer Aniston. In an interview he touched upon the subject but confessed that the added pressure from the public did not bother him, “There is this hum of pressure that - I can't stress enough - I just don't pay any attention to ... We're just doing our own thing. We are completely happy, obviously, but we're not on anyone else's timeframe.”

The fact that Jennifer's best friend, Courteney Cox, is also said to be getting married to her boyfriend, Scottish rocker Johnny McDaid, whom she met at the end of last year, has done nothing but add even more pressure to the shotgun wedding that is shaping up to be Jennifer's big day.

It remains to be seen if the wedding is actually going to take place by the end of the year, but at the moment the chances of that happening are pretty slim.
