The infamous Assassin's Creed Unity "no face" bug that caused characters to render without an actual face during cut scenes should be fixed and Ubisoft advises players who continue to experience it to contact its technical support.

Assassin's Creed Unity launched last week across the PC, PS4, and Xbox One platforms, delivering the next iteration in the long running franchise from Ubisoft.

Unfortunately for fans of the series, the title suffers from quite a lot of different problems and issues, ranging from a dodgy framerate to bugs relating to the stealth, exploration, or combat.

Among the more infamous problems that surfaced online was a particularly nasty one concerning the rendering of characters during cut scenes. More specifically, they didn't have any faces, leaving just eyes and other such things to appear on the screen.

Ubisoft now confirms on the official website that the problem was actually due to the game running in a bad manner on PCs equipped with just two specific graphics cards. The issue was remedied by the day one patch that launched right alongside the game.

As such, if players still encounter the problem, they should ensure that the game was updated. If the patches are already downloaded and installed and the issue still appears, then they should contact Ubisoft's support team and let it know about the situation.
