Black Friday is almost upon us and a wide number of outlets, both with physical presences and which only exist in the digital space, are delivering a range of deals for gamers who are looking to pick up a new console or simply want to get some of the titles that they might have missed during the past few months.

Microsoft is very keen to make the Xbox One a solid contender during the holiday period, and that means gamers can get the console for a special reduced price of 329 dollars/235 Euro (but only available in the United State). However, there’s an even better deal which includes a free title and 80 dollars off the list price in the official store.

Deals for video games for the platform, including Assassin’s Creed Unity, Forza Motorsport 5 and more, are also offered by the company, and a range of physical stores also have their own promotions.

Sony is secure when it comes to the sales potential of the PlayStation 4, and that means it has not cut the price of its own device, although there are some stores which are ready to offer it with a discount, depending on location.

The Co-Op sale on the PlayStation Network does allow players to pick up a range of titles for reduced prices, but the company is not putting the same effort as its rival at the moment.

Nintendo has not offered any official deals so far, but again, physical retailers are offering the Wii U with a discount and bundled with free games.

On Steam, Valve is running an Exploration sale which is delivering new price cuts for big titles every day, although recently launched titles are in short supply.

Electronic Arts is offering its own price cut on the Origin service, and Titanfall is the big star at the moment, while on the Uplay store it is offering some solid deals for Bethesda-published titles.

There are also physical store deals to enjoy

Those who want to travel to a physical store during Black Friday in order to get some gaming content also have plenty of options, with a wider variety of deals.

Amazon is ready to ship a range of content, including discounted PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Wii U consoles and the games associated with them, and the company has a dedicated hub for gamers to see what it has to offer at any time.

Best Buy offers a good deal for the Xbox One with included Assassin’s Creed video games and it also has some interesting offers for those looking for Disney Infinity and Skylanders Trap Team, which also have physical content.

The store also offers discounted video games for a number of other platforms.

Target asks customers to walk into stores to see and get the deals, but they do have an ad showing that the price for the Xbox One has been reduced.

Other smaller chains are also running their own promotions and the best way to keep track of everything that’s happening is a dedicated Reddit section.
