The compilation is coming out on November 11, on Xbox One

With Halo: The Master Chief Collection less than a week away, Microsoft and 343 Industries have released the science fiction first-person shooter video game compilation's launch trailer.

As if there weren't enough hype surrounding the incoming collection already, the launch trailer showcases the updated HD visuals of the remastered editions of Halo 1 through 4, as well as the extras that players will be getting in the massive pack, which will be a must-buy for every Xbox One owner out there.

Halo has become one of the most influential video game series ever created, blending a compelling storyline, set in a rich sci-fi universe, with challenging and satisfying first-person shooter gameplay.

The games were veritable platform sellers for Microsoft's computer entertainment systems, and many Xbox and PC gamers no doubt remember them fondly.

A solid offering for Xbox One owners

Halo: The Master Chief Collection bundles together Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3, and Halo 4, enabling users to relive some of their best gaming moments with updated visuals and improved mechanics, as well as offering a whole new generation the chance to experience the Halo saga.

In addition to the original experience, developer 343 Industries also packed in a lot of extra content, such as a full multiplayer suite numbering more than 100 maps for players to test their skills on, including some reworked classics and some brand new ones that have never seen the light of day before.
