Video game developer 343 Industries and publisher Microsoft are announcing that they are at the moment running the final tests for the April update for Halo: The Master Chief Collection, which is set to be offered at an unspecified date in the coming weeks.

The two companies are not yet ready to provide a full list of patch notes for it and will probably keep players guessing until the patch is out.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection aims to introduce a lot of changes linked to both ranking and design for each of the game included in the package.

343 Industries is also saying that new systems will be added to the experience in order to improve the community behavior when it comes to quitting, betrayals and reputation.

Until the April update for Halo: The Master Chief Collection launches, gamers can engage with some new playlists.

Team Doubles introduces a mix of Halo 2 Classic, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3, and Halo 4 game types.

343 Industries states, "We will adjust voting options and weighting in a future update to improve the mix of BR-start game types. Last week, I didn’t mention Team Objective, and I do believe some of the strategists and tacticians amongst our ranks began to worry. Fear not, hill holders and flag fumblers: Team Objective is still on the way, and tentatively scheduled for release in the coming weeks."

SWAT is another playlist that will return to Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection continues to get support

The game was in rough shape when it launched on the Xbox One in November, but updates added since then have improved the general experience.

343 Industries says that it has plans to continue to add content in the coming months, and it has already announced the schedule for the second season of the Chmapionship series of eSports events.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection shows that the franchise has a lot of potential on the Xbox One, but the develpoment team needs to make sure that it does not introduce new bugs for the title.

Halo 5: Guardians will be launched on October 27 with a Master Chief-focused story.
