The development team at 343 Industries and publisher Microsoft have launched the new ODST and Remnant content for Halo: The Master Chief Collection and fans of the series can also take a look at a special developer walkthrough created by the two companies.

Interested players can learn about the changes that have been made from Max Szlagor, senior game designer, and Joseph Staten, who worked on the campaign when the experience was originally launched.

ODST and Remnant were added to Halo: The Master Chief Collection as part of a bigger May update for the shooter, and an official FAQ offers more details.

They were promised in late 2014 and are delivered for free to those who have supported the game during its original rocky launch on the Xbox One.

The ODST campaign is not downloading properly for some players, who are seeing the process getting stuck at 99 percent and have no way to force it progress.

343 Industries will probably deliver a fix next week, although the company has not yet acknowledged that the issue exists.

Recently, the development studio has also talked about changes that it plans to make to the competitive side of Halo: The Master Chief Collection for the coming events.

Halo 5: Guardians will increase the popularity of the older title

The new Master Chief experience coming in the fall on the Xbox One has the potential to be the most successful title launched on the Xbox One since it was introduced in late 2013.

343 Industries is aiming to deliver a single-player campaign that will explore how the same vents can be seen in different ways by characters based on their initial judgments.

Both Master Chief and Agent Locke will probably be playable and more details will be offered during E3 2015.

The studio is also making changes to the multiplayer mechanics that were first shown off during a beta period for Halo 5: Guardians that took place at the end of the year.

The developers are saying that they want to make sure that all new Spartan abilities can be turned off for custom matches, to make sure that gamers are not forced to use them.

Halo 5:Guardians will be introduced on the Xbox One on October 27.
