14 DAY TRIAL // The development team at 343 Industries and publisher Microsoft are continuing to update Halo: The Master Chief Collection and this time they are focusing on the Achievements linked to the game, delivering 50 new challenges for players to complete, which are worth 500 Gamerscore and are accessible to all those who purchased the title.
This brings the total for the experience to 500 Achievements and 5000 Gamerscore, with the numbers designed to showcase the wealth of content that the collection delivers.
The announcement explains that “The focus for this round is on Spartan Ops and multiplayer, with some additional achievements across games and game modes. For the Spartan Ops and medal achievements, previously completed chapters and existing progress will count towards this batch of achievements.”

Some of them will be pretty hard to complete even for the most capable players.
The upgrade plan for Halo: The Master Chief Collection continues
When the major Halo package for the Xbox One was first introduced, it had a lot of problems, most of which were linked to the matchmaking in the various multiplayer modes.
Since then, the developers have launched a lot of content updates designed to solve the issues, but some of them still remain.
343 Industries states, “Our next content update, which will address UI and a variety of other areas, is currently on track for delivery next week. We will provide additional info regarding the exact ETA and final details of the upcoming content update once the certification process is completed.”
Bonnie Ross, the leader of the studio, has apologized for the major problems and has announced that gamers who stuck with the title at launch will be getting access to exclusive in-game content and rewards.
At the moment, 343 Industries is also dealing with the Halo 5: Guardians beta, testing out a number of new mechanics that will be part of the multiplayer when the title is finally out in the fall on the Xbox One.
