The development team at 343 Industries and publisher Microsoft are announcing that they are planning to launch the first full official live-action trailer for Halo 5: Guardians during the season finale of the very popular The Walking Dead series on AMC.

The official Xbox Wire announcement explains that the footage is designed to offer a look at the single-player story of the coming title and will offer more clues about the fate and the whereabouts of Master Chief.

Those who cannot wait until then can go to the new Hunt for the Truth Tumblr in order to get more hints in the Bullet teaser, which can be explored frame by frame by gamers who would like to get more clues.

That site also offers fans access to the audio diaries and the articles written by Benjamin Giraud, a journalist who is tracking Master Chief in order to find out the truth about him and the big events that affected the universe of Halo.

Microsoft also reveals that Keegan-Michael Key, best known for the Comedy Central series Key and Peele, plays the new character and he will be the host of the new site for a 12-week period, with more details offered as the teams in charge of Guardians prepare for E3 2015 in June.

A full Augmented Reality Game might be introduced for the shooter later in the summer.

Halo 5: Guardians will deliver solid changes to both single and multiplayer

So far, the development team at 343 Industries has focused more on the multiplayer side of the game, which received a major testing period earlier in 2015.

The studio has explained that it has gathered a lot of data and feedback and is currently using it to make sure that the experience is improved before launch, with recent announcements talking about dedicated servers for custom games and about choices linked to Spartan abilities.

The single-player of the game will be structured once again around a big threat the Master Chief needs to deal with, but it seems that there are larger roles for other characters like Agent Locke and Cortana as well, although no official info has been offered.

Halo 5: Guardians does not have a launch date, but it will probably be introduced at some point in November only on the Xbox One home console.
