The dual-SIM HTC One E9+ has just been launched in India where it will soon start selling for Rs 36,790 ($575 / €515) outright.

That's quite pricey for an emerging market, but since this is a high-end smartphone, there's no chance that it could go cheaper so early after release.

Potential customers should also know that HTC One E9+ will be available in three different color options: Meteor Grey, Gold Sepia and Rose Gold.

Even though the One E9+ doesn't feature a metal body like the One M9, the polycarbonate compound used by HTC gives the smartphone a nice feeling touch and makes it look pretty stylish.

When it comes to hardware, the One E9+ doesn't disappoints, as the smartphone is equipped with MediaTek's new Helio X10 chipset that accommodates a 64-bit octa-core processor clocked at 2.GHz, a PowerVR G6200 graphics processing unit and 3GB of RAM.

Quad HD display and 20MP camera with 4K video

But that's not all as HTC One E9+ boasts a stunning 5.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution and features Corning Gorilla Glass 4 coating.

On the back, the smartphone packs a 20-megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash and 4K video recording, while in the front there's a secondary no-less-impressive 13-megapixel camera in the front that can capture 4K video as well.

HTC One E9+ comes with 32GB of internal memory, but users can further expand storage up to 128GB via microSD card slot.

Last but not least, HTC One E9+ is powered by a 2,800 mAh non-removable battery, which is rated by the manufacturer for up to 590 hours (615 hours in 3G mode) of standby time or up to 21 hours of talk time (14 hours in 3G mode).

Obviously, the smartphone will ship with Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system with HTC Sense UI 7.0 on top. No word on when exactly it will start selling, but that should happen very soon.
