Huawei introduced its latest flagship, the Honor 6 Plus last month. The handset stands out from the crowd because of its impressive dual-camera system which is capable of delivering advanced results.
But if the Honor 6 Plus isn't premium enough for you, as of this week you can get the monster in a special gold edition Huawei has worked extra hard to deliver.
Do you value details when looking at a product?
That's because, according to the company, the gold Honor 6 Plus takes a lot more effort in producing than Apple’s gold iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.
That’s because the Huawei model is completely covered in this color, while the Apple devices boasts white front panels. On top of that, the gold Honor 6 Plus dons a stylish and complex pattern on the back and front.
For those who missed our earlier coverage, the Honor 6 Plus takes advantage of a 5.5-inch display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. It draws life from an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 925 processor from the company’s own garden, fitted with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
The handset is outfitted with a dual-sensor 8MP rear camera plus a “normal” 8MP front-facing camera for selfie-lovers. The device ships out with Android 4.4 KitKat, although given the fact that this is a flagship device, we should expect to receive the Android 5.0 Lollipop update.
The Honor 6 Plus might make it to the US at some point
The gold Honor 6 Plus will be costing you around $390 / €346 if you’re in China, which is relatively affordable for such an extravagant handset model.
Huawei is yet to offer the Honor 6 Plus officially outside the confines of China, but word on the street has it that the company is looking to roll out a bunch of Honor models in the US market soon, although we’re not sure whether the Honor 6 Plus will be included or not.
