Developer Rockstar Games has released a brand new title update for Grand Theft Auto V's online mode, available for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 home consoles.

The update for GTA Online was initially released for the PS3 and PS4 versions of the acclaimed action-adventure video game last week, addressing a bunch of stability issues and adding a number of minor fixes to the game.

The update is aimed primarily at addressing issues related to the multiplayer component of GTA V, but it also contains some improvements for the single-player portion of the experience.

Unfortunately, it's still unclear what exactly the patch fixes, as the announcement is lacking in the details department. Users who were previously encountering issues are most likely going to cross their fingers, launch the game and hope that their particular problem was addressed by Rockstar.

Heists are the latest big thing to come to GTA V

It is, however, plausible that the update is geared mainly toward smoothing some of the issues caused by the recent addition of Heists to GTA Online, which went live on March 10, enabling users to undergo a number of new, complex missions. Heists require a lot of time spent in the planning stage, but when you successfully pull them off, the rewards are always worth the time investment.

In any case, the development team pledged its ongoing support, promising to continue to listen to the feedback coming from the community, in order to improve the experience for everyone involved.

Furthermore, the developers have also mentioned that they plan to add further content to the open-world game in the future, restating their long-term dedication to the latest entry in the blockbuster franchise.

Grand Theft Auto V is currently headed for the PC platform, expected to land on April 12. The PC edition of the popular video game will benefit from all the content and updates currently available to GTA V players.
