14 DAY TRIAL // Rockstar Games confirms that its long-awaited online heists for Grand Theft Auto 5's multiplayer mode are coming on March 10 for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One owners, but that PC users will have to wait a few more weeks until getting their hands on their own version of the actual game, as it's been pushed back once more until April 14.
GTA 5 launched back in September of 2013 for PS3 and Xbox 360, and in November of last year for the PS4 and Xbox One. The PC version was initially set to debut in fall of last year alongside the new console editions, but Rockstar pushed it back several times until January, then until March, while simultaneously promising the debut of the online heists for the console versions.
GTA 5 is getting online heists in March, PC version in April
Now, a new statement has just been offered on the official newswire, offering an actual release date for the online heists and another delay for the PC edition of GTA 5.
First up, GTA 5 Online gets the new heists on March 10 across PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. Rockstar promises to share way more details about all of the new multiplayer missions in the following weeks. Until then a fresh set of screenshot are available in the gallery below.
The PC edition has another delay for polishing reasons
The PC version of GTA 5 is now set to appear on April 14 around the world. The developer once again apologizes for the delay while emphasizing that more time is needed to polish the whole thing and ensure that it won't encounter issues on that platform.
Besides highlighting that GTA 5 on PC will have the best quality of them all, not to mention different options and the support of many configurations, Rockstar also confirms that all those who pre-ordered the title on PC will get an addition bonus of 200,000 in in-game currency for the multiplayer mode.
