But don't get your hopes too high, it's just a funny mistake

Google doesn't care about Microsoft's Windows Phone platform. During its Google I/O conference, the search giant made quite a few announcements that introduced new applications and services, but even though they were advertised as cross-platform, none will be available on Windows Phone.

That's alright since Microsoft is bringing its own apps and services on Android and iOS platform, so consumers will have access to what the Redmond-based company has to offer in terms of software.

But what about hardware? Although Windows Phone has a very small market share worldwide, Microsoft continues to ink partnerships with many OEMs to push its mobile platform to emerging markets.

Would Google consider making a Windows Phone under the Nexus brand? No, of course not. However, a Nexus 6 running Windows Phone operating system appears on Google's SmartLock website.

A dual-booting Nexus 6? Not a chance

We believe this is just a design mistake, since a Nexus 6 dual-booting Android and Windows Phone is inconceivable for the moment.

It's funny though how someone took the Nexus 6's picture and the Netflix image running on a Windows Phone device and stitched them together.

The result is funny if you realize the mistake, of course. The only way to notice it is if you look at the on-screen buttons that show the Windows Phone search function.

This is not the first time we see such a hilarious mistake, and it will surely not be the last one. It will be interesting to see how long it will take Google to replace the wrong image with the correct one.

Otherwise, the Smart Lock for Passwords function is pretty interesting, as it allows users to unlock apps and sites by saving all the passwords for you. That is if you have an Android smartphone or a Chrome device, of course.
