A small, new update has been released by Google

A new Google Chrome stable version has been released in the 39.x branch and the developers have made a number of changes and improvements, including a new update for the Adobe Flash component.

It's been a couple of weeks since the previous update for the browser and the devs have pushed a new version out the door. It's nothing too impressive and only the Adobe Flash Player update really stands out. Interestingly enough, besides the Flash update, only a single change has been made to the application. This is rather unusual, especially since most releases are usually accompanied by a ton of fixes.

According the devs, the link disambiguation has been disabled by default. This is what the changelog says: "flips the logic on the --disable-link-disambiguation flag to --enable-link-disambiguation with the default value of false everywhere but Android. Also fixes the broken logic to copy the value to the renderer process."

If you already have Google Chrome installed and you also have the official repositories enabled, you just have to upgrade the system and the new version will arrive as well.

Moreover, you can download Google Chrome 39.0.2171.71 for Linux right now from Softpedia, along with the Windows and Mac OS X versions.
