Its developers describe it as the "world's dumbest game"

Coffee Stain Studios announces that its mayhem-creating video game, Goat Simulator, is coming to Xbox platforms next month.

The developer was known for creating Sanctum and its juiced-up sequel, Sanctum 2, pretty solid tower defense games that enabled you to step in the middle of the action and shoot stuff for yourself, before gaining worldwide fame with Goat Simulator.

The game puts players in the role of a realistic-looking goat that explores a small town and wreaks havoc on pretty much everything. Your goal is to create as much destruction as possible, racking up points as the world goes up in flames around you, and using your super long, super sticky tongue to grab stuff and throw it on the fire.

It’s very glitchy and unbelievably dumb, but also very fun and lighthearted, and the only thing it’s missing is a collector’s edition that comes with a real, live goat. It’s similar in many ways to Octodad: Dadliest Catch, and as everything else in this world, more fun with friends.

Xbox One will now surely win the console wars

Coffee Stain Studios has even released an update that transforms Goat Simulator into a massively multiplayer online game, attempting to snatch World of Warcraft’s crown.

The game initially started out as a tech demo released as an April Fools’ joke, and became an overnight online sensation, which prompted the team to develop it into a full-fledged release title, expanded with several free updates.

Goat Simulator will land on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One home consoles from Microsoft this April. The Xbox version of the game is being worked on by Double Eleven, known for making Frozen Synapse Prime and for porting several PixelJunk titles to PC.

The game is also available on mobile platforms, so you can give it a try if you’re looking for something to cure your Candy Crush addiction.
