Numerous Linux games are discounted in today's offer

Just four more days are left until the Steam Summer Sale ends, and Linux users had plenty of opportunities to get a ton of games. It looks like the eighth day is also a good day for Linux gaming.

The Steam Monster Summer Sale Day 8 is upon us, and more titles have been discounted. Some of them are already marked with Linux support, but many of today's discounted games don't give any indications that a Linux version is incoming, and that's a real shame. It might not look like it at first sight, but the majority of titles in Day 8 do have Linux support or will have very soon.

Many of the titles listed in today's offer on Steam have Linux support clearly marked, but a few others don't. That just means that they don't have Linux support right now, not that it's not coming. It's not true for all games, but we do have information about some of the titles.

Get GRID Autosport and Batman: Arkham Knight

"For four more days, take advantage of huge savings throughout our store on thousands of games. Check back every 12 hours to see new Daily Deals. You can even help unlock additional discounts by playing our Monster Summer Game. More than four hundred products will be featured as Daily Deals throughout the sale, with new deals popping up every 12 hours," reads the announcement on Steam.

Here are the games that have Linux support or will have a few months: Shovel Knight, Batman: Arkham Knight, Batman: Arkham City, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Age of Wonders III, The Walking Dead: Season 2, Dying Light, ARK: Survival Evolved, Hand of Fate, and GRID Autosport.

Linux users won't be able to play Batman: Arkham Knight, ARK: Survival Evolved, and GRID Autosport just yet. The only one that will get a Linux version in the coming days is ARK: Survival Evolved. For the other two there is a waiting period of a few months.

Enjoy!
